This is for me the best ever band as Captain Beefheart is the one and only person I rate as highly as he's late great friend. A million thank you and more for this one. What can someone say. This is an amazing blog about the music of a one of a kind person.

I AGREE 100% - Unfortunately, both FZ and CB have been 2 musical genius and each in different ways. I think that's why they only have very short periods with each other. As the many of you, i regret this because Don Van Vliet is also been a marvelous harmonica-blues player and (in my opinion) the absolute best singer EVER in the Rock and Blues music history. .... Too much?... hahaha - To me, the Bongo Fury tour is been INDEED the best in many ways; unfortunately is also been the SHORTER :-( - By the way... how to forget it? IMPOSSIBLE, i think !
Maybe the real GREAT THINGS have to be short, who knows? Usually they're NEVER LONG ENOUGH to Us !
Ciao from Italy from Romano Manara
