My all time favourite band. When Captain was there there was always the change Zappa's one of a kind music to take off to even higher level (if there was a possibility for that). This is one of the best ever posts of this amazing blog.
What more can i say and write?
Take care my friend (or friends)...

What I like in this period - and cannot really hear on Bongo Fury - is the WILDness of Bozzio. Just listen to him: LOUD, powerful, crazy... fine!!!!

I agreeeeee.... aaaaaAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHhhhh
In 1975 i was 19 years old and, i fear, i have been in italy and Asia but not in the USA.. The Bongo Fury Tour is been only US and only 29 dates with a few double shows... An European fan can't be satisfied by this..... But maybe, we can try (now) to ask Gail and "The Dweez" for the recordings of that 35-40 shows... (what do you think about?.. I found only a few of these april-may 1975 shows and a real good sound quality is very hard to find except for El Paso..
BTW, I AGREE WITH YOU ALL (as usual)... Ciao from Italy, Romano Manara
